From problem to workable artwork

You Do Not Need Perfect Production Files to Begin

Many clothing projects begin with a phone screenshot, a rough sketch, a compressed logo or a reference that shows only the general direction. That is enough for a first manufacturing review. We look at the product, artwork placement, size, color and decoration method before deciding what must be redrawn or adjusted.

Low-Resolution Images

Pixelated edges and compression can make printing unpredictable. Where the artwork is suitable, we can rebuild clear shapes, clean backgrounds and prepare scalable linework for the selected garment size.

Reference-Led Brand Direction

A reference can show the layout, scale, mood or technique you like. We then rebuild an original direction around your own authorized brand name, logo and graphic elements rather than copying the reference.

Artwork That Cannot Be Produced As Shown

Very fine lines, tiny gaps, excessive colors or complex textures may not suit every method. We can suggest practical changes to line weight, detail, color separation, placement or technique before sampling.

Real project example

Case 1: Reference Design Adapted for a Customer Brand

The customer selected a racing-jersey direction, then supplied the name and logo to be used. Our team updated the approved brand elements across the front, back, sleeves and collar before preparing the sample garment for approval. The full image is shown without cropping so the design changes and finished result can be compared.

Case 2: Low-Resolution Reference to Finished Garment

This separate project began with photos of an existing garment and artwork that needed cleanup. The graphic shows the progression through image cleanup, usable vector artwork, front and back renderings, and the final long-sleeve garment. It is a practical example of how incomplete or low-resolution references can become clear production direction.

What Our Team Can Prepare

The exact work depends on the file and the decoration method. A simple logo may be suitable for a clean vector redraw, while a photographic image may need a different print process instead of being forced into vector artwork.

01

Image Cleanup

Remove obvious background noise, improve usable edges and organize the artwork for a clearer production review.

02

Suitable Vector Redraw

Rebuild logos, lettering and simple graphics as scalable shapes when their structure makes vector work practical.

03

Authorized Brand Adaptation

Replace approved names, logos, colors or graphic elements to create a distinct direction for the client’s own brand.

04

Production Adjustment

Adapt line weight, detail, color count and separations to suit screen printing, DTG, puff print, embroidery or another confirmed method.

05

Garment Placement Mockup

Show the proposed artwork position and approximate scale on the selected T-shirt, hoodie, jacket, pants or other garment.

06

Approval File for Sampling

Organize a clear review direction so artwork, placement, color and technique can be confirmed before the physical sample is made.

Four-step workflow

From Your Reference to Sample Approval

Artwork is reviewed as one part of the full garment. Fabric, wash, color, placement and decoration all affect how a design can be reproduced.

  1. 01

    Share Your Files

Send the best artwork you have, reference images, your own brand assets, garment type, colors, quantity and target timeline.

  2. 02

    Review Feasibility

We check image quality, detail, print size, placement and the intended technique, then identify any production limits.

  3. 03

    Prepare the Artwork

After the production order is confirmed and paid, we clean, redraw or adapt the agreed direction within the confirmed brief.

  4. 04

    Approve Before Sampling

You review the artwork direction and placement before we move to a decorated physical sample for final production checking.

Prepare your brief

What to Send Us

Do not wait for a perfect tech pack. Send enough information for us to understand the garment and the intended result. Clear notes about what you want to keep and what may change help the first review move faster.

  • Your original logo file or the clearest image currently available
  • Reference images and a note explaining the elements you like
  • Your own brand name, logo and authorized graphic elements
  • Garment style, fabric color and intended artwork placement
  • Approximate print or embroidery dimensions when known
  • Order quantity, size range, destination and requested timeline

Buyer questions

Artwork Preparation Questions

Can you work from a screenshot or low-resolution JPG?

Often, yes. We first review whether the visible shapes, colors and details provide enough information. Simple artwork may be redrawn, while photographic or heavily textured images may require a different route.

Can you turn my logo into vector artwork?

A clear logo, wordmark or simple graphic can often be rebuilt as vector-style production artwork. The result depends on image quality and complexity, so we confirm the practical scope before work begins.

Can you adapt a reference into my own brand direction?

Yes, when the reference is used only to explain layout, mood, scale or technique. We create a distinct direction using your own authorized brand name, logo and graphics rather than copying protected artwork.

Is artwork preparation included with every inquiry?

No. Initial inquiries receive a feasibility review. Artwork preparation at no additional design fee begins after a production order is confirmed and paid, with the scope agreed for that garment project.

Can every image be converted exactly as shown?

No. Fine detail, gradients, photographic textures, distressed effects and small lettering behave differently across techniques. We may recommend a different method or a controlled adjustment before sampling.

How many revisions are included?

Reasonable revisions within the same confirmed brief are included before sampling. A new graphic direction, substantially different concept or expanded product range needs a separate scope review.

When do I approve the artwork?

You approve the artwork direction, approximate placement and selected production method before the decorated physical sample. The sample is then used to check the real fabric, color, scale and finish.

Will you send editable source files?

The service is prepared for confirmation and production of an Eking order. Editable AI, EPS, SVG or other working files are not promised as a standard deliverable and can be discussed only when relevant to the project.
